Alison Krauss has been a country artist for more than 30 years. Her birthplace was in Decatur, Illinois on the 23rd of July, 1971. LeAnn Kymes and she were two of the earliest recipients of a Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss was born in the month of July 1971. Alison is an American bluegrass singer and country musician. Her age was just teen when she began her journey into the world of music, having won local contests from the age of 10 old and recording her first album when she was 14 years old. She was signed in 1985 with Rounder Records. Her first solo album debuted in 1987. The band invited her to join the band with which she still performs Alison Krauss and Union Station and later released her first album in the band in 1989.
