With a professional career that spans three decades, she is well-known for her performance across multiple genres of screen and stage. Janney was nominated for two Tony Awards and has been recognized with the Academy Award as well as an award from the British Academy Film Award. Janney was brought up by her parents in Dayton and Boston by her parents, was awarded a scholarship by the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art to pursue her studies following graduation from Kenyon College. Janney has been credited with several small and rarely-seen film and TV appearances in the past. Her most memorable role in the role of C. J.
