Rauw Alejandro

Raul Alejandro Ruiz was born on January 10, 1993. He is also known as Rauw Alejandro. He has been called the "King of Modern Reggaeton".[2][3He is part of the "new generation" of Puerto Rican musicians. The album he released his debut, Afrodisiaco (studio album), was released in the month of November in 2020. Vice Versa is his second studio album, came out in June 2021. It included the lead single "Todo de Ti". From twelve nominations, he has won two Latin Grammy Awards. Raul Alejandro Ruiz, a Latin Grammy Award winner, was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on the 10th of January 1993. He was also raised in Canovanas, and Carolina. His father Raul Ocasio Ruiz was a musician and his mother Maria Nelly Ruiz was his backing vocalist. They introduced him to the music of Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley. Alejandro and his father stayed for many years in the United States. They mainly settled in New York City and Miami. Alejandro and Anuel A.A. Anuel A.A., a colleague of Puerto Rican rapper are childhood acquaintances. They went to the same school and attended classes together. When they were children, Alejandro competed in school talent shows due to an obsession with dancing. After graduating from high school, he began his studies at the University of Puerto Rico. He was a soccer player between six to twenty. He eventually resigned because he was unable to perform the way he expected. To be scouted for the Premier Development League (PDL) the player moved to Orlando, Florida. Rauw Alejandro's style of music is Latin R&B and reggaeton. He also loves dance music and rhythmic pop. Billboard said that this makes him distinguish himself from a increasing number of reggaetoneros who lean towards pop. Presley and Jackson had a profound influence on him in the beginning and were later followed by Ricky Martin, Daddy Yankee and Chris Brown. He also cites Ciara as an influence in music.
